Drayton Insurance Services were kindly invited by Aviva to attend a Q&A with Norwich City Football Club’s coaching team.
This included Alex Neil’s right hand man Frankie McAvoy, club legend Gary Holt, goalkeeping coach Dean Kiely and technical director Ricky Martin. However, unfortunately the manger himself, Alex Neil couldn’t attend due to transfer activity meaning this was a hot topic when it came to grilling the coaches.
Other topics of conversation included work-life balance of the team, the disappointing defeat against Liverpool at the weekend – and of course, how coaches keep the morale of the team up when things don’t always go in the favour.
After the hour’s Q&A, us and several other brokers from around the county were then invited to stay behind and talk to the coaches themselves – Even getting a photo or two!
The event also included a tour of the stadium where we got a close up view of the pitch itself (including every one of the 12 million blades of grass!), saw us admiring the trophy cabinet and walk behind the scenes – seeing both the Home and Away changing rooms and the post-match interview room too.
